Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Compatibility

This Armor Lite heatsink is built specifically for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B across 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB variants. It combines an aluminium heatsink with a 3510 PWM controllable fan to lower board temperatures quickly. Thermal pads are included to ensure proper contact with key components. The lightweight design adds minimal bulk to the single-board computer.

Check GPIO Header and OS Version

Verify that your board is a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, as the mounting holes and GPIO header layout differ from earlier models. Ensure you are running Raspberry Pi OS or a distribution that exposes the PWM fan control interface through the GPIO pins. Confirm there is enough clearance around the board for the heatsink height and fan airflow in your chosen enclosure.

Screwdriver, Screws and Thermal Pads Included

The package supplies a screwdriver and two screws so you can secure the heatsink without sourcing tools separately. Four thermal pads cover the CPU, RAM and other hot spots to improve heat transfer from day one. A user manual walks through the installation steps and PWM configuration. No additional accessories or software licences are required.
