The MSI RADIX AXE6600 is a tri-band wireless router built on WiFi 6E, delivering simultaneous 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz coverage for households that run games, streams and work calls at the same time. A quad-core 1.8 GHz processor handles heavy traffic without slowing down, while the 2.5 Gbps WAN port and four 1 Gbps LAN ports keep wired links fast. The 6 GHz radio uses a 4x4 stream design with 160 MHz channels, reaching up to 4804 Mbps on that band alone.

AI QoS and RGB antenna bundle

The box includes the router, an Ethernet cable, a power adapter and a quick start guide, plus six high-performance RGB antennas that attach to the rear panel. AI QoS software runs on the processor and automatically classifies traffic into gaming, streaming, work-from-home and AI auto modes, shifting priority in real time so a download never chokes a match. Mystic Light sync lets the antenna lighting match other compatible components without extra controllers.

6 GHz 4x4 160 MHz radio decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this router fits a build is the 6 GHz radio: 4x4 streams with 1024-QAM on 160 MHz channels, rated at up to 4804 Mbps. Devices that lack WiFi 6E radios cannot use that spectrum, so buyers with only WiFi 5 or WiFi 6 clients will not see the capacity gain. The router supports up to 60 connected devices and includes WPA3-PSK encryption, but it does not add a second 2.5 Gbps LAN port or a 10 Gbps uplink.
