ATX 500W power supply for basic desktops

This ATX unit delivers 500W rated power for low-consumption desktop builds. It suits office PCs, media centres or simple upgrades where noise and cost matter more than headroom. Manual 115V/230V switching with 80% efficiency

The supply requires the user to set input voltage to 115V or 230V before powering on. Efficiency is rated above 80% without active PFC, so mains current draw is higher than on modern units. Hold-up time exceeds 10ms, giving a brief buffer during short dips. Design life is quoted at 100000 hours under normal conditions.

Single 6-pin to 6+2-pin graphics connector

Only one 6-pin to 6+2-pin PCIe lead is provided, limiting the unit to graphics cards that draw no more than 150W from that connector. Builders needing two PCIe power cables or a 12VHPWR connector must choose a different supply. Four SATA and two fan headers cover basic storage and cooling needs.
