This 384 GB kit contains four 96 GB DDR5 registered DIMMs built to the exact rank, voltage and timing the Supermicro H14DSG-OM memory controller expects. Registered ECC architecture lets every slot run fully populated at rated speed while correcting single-bit errors on the fly. It is not suited for systems that require unbuffered UDIMMs or lower-density modules.
Operating at 1.10 V, the modules draw minimal power and generate little heat, so no heat spreader is fitted. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, keeping idle thermals low and fan noise quiet in typical server workloads. Power consumption scales with the 5600 MT/s data rate rather than exceeding the DDR5 baseline.
With all four 2Rx4 ranks populated, the registered design maintains signal integrity at the full 5600 MT/s rate during extended compute or database tasks. ECC continues to catch and correct single-bit errors without halting the system, preventing silent data corruption over long runs. Stability depends on following the motherboard manual for approved population order and capacity limits.
