It connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and is rated for up to 5900 MBps sequential read and 2300 MBps sequential write. Random read reaches 931500 IOPS at QD256 while random write hits 59000 IOPS. Endurance is rated at 0.51 DWPD or 14.43 PBW with a 2,000,000-hour MTBF.
The jump makes sense when capacity per slot matters more than write endurance and the workload stays read-intensive. QLC density keeps acquisition cost per terabyte low, but sustained heavy write streams will wear the drive faster than TLC alternatives. Opal security is included for data-at-rest encryption without a separate controller.
Active power draw reaches 20W and idle drops to 5W, so the thermal budget must handle the peak.
