The SPARTAN EZ Dupe Media Mirror M902-SSP is a standalone duplicator that copies data from SD, CF, MS and MMC cards or USB drives directly to CD or DVD without a PC. It targets photographers, videographers and archivists who need to move critical files from erasable flash media to write-once optical discs for permanent backup. The Athena controller manages the process through a 20 x 2 LCD menu in English, Spanish, French or Japanese.

Built-in card reader and dual writers for direct

A front-panel card reader and USB port accept one source at a time while two internal DVD/CD burners produce up to two identical discs per cycle. The unit also operates as a disc-to-disc duplicator, reading a master disc in the ROM drive and burning copies to both writers simultaneously. It runs on 115-230 V AC power and requires no host computer, freeing workstation resources for other tasks.

128 MB buffer and 52X CD / 24X DVD write speeds

The 128 MB buffer sustains CD-R recording at 52X and DVD±R recording at 24X, with DVD±RW at 8X and dual-layer media at 8X. These speeds determine how quickly a full disc is written and whether the buffer can prevent underruns during high-capacity transfers.
