IoT Entry Board
The Arduino Nano 33 IoT is a compact development board that adds secure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to the familiar Nano form factor. It targets makers and engineers who need a straightforward path to cloud-connected sensor projects without designing custom RF hardware. The 3.3 V logic level and pre-certified radio module simplify compliance for commercial prototypes.
Headers And Crypto Ready
The board ships with pin headers already soldered, so it can be plugged directly into a breadboard or custom PCB for immediate testing. An on-board ECC608A crypto chip handles key storage and TLS handshakes, removing the need for external security components in IoT designs. A six-axis IMU adds motion sensing for orientation or vibration detection without extra wiring.
Voltage And Spectrum Limits
The on-board DC-DC converter accepts input up to 21 V, yet every I/O pin operates at 3.3 V and is not 5 V tolerant, so level shifting is mandatory when interfacing with classic Arduino shields. Wireless communication is confined to the 2.4 GHz band, limiting range in congested environments. Flash memory is 256 KB and SRAM is 32 KB, constraining the complexity of local application code.

Bu ürünle ilgili sorular
Does the ECC608A crypto chip need any maintenance or replacement over time?
The ECC608A crypto chip is a fixed component soldered to the board and requires no maintenance or scheduled replacement during normal operation.
What is the first limit reached when running the SAMD21 processor continuously at 48MHz?
Thermal limits of the on-board DC-DC supply are reached first when powering external devices from the 3.3V rail at high current while the processor runs at 48MHz.
How much heat does the board produce when powered at 21V and running all day?
The DC-DC converter maintains high efficiency up to 21V input, keeping heat low even when supplying significant current to external peripherals continuously.
