What this kit is and who it fits

This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB DDR4 modules rated at 2400 MHz with CL17 timings. It is built for ASUS and ASmobile Z370 motherboards including Prime Z370-A, Prime Z370-P, ROG Strix Z370-E, ROG Strix Z370-F, ROG Strix Z370-G and ROG Strix Z370-G (WI-FI AC). The unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs run at 1.2 V and use major-brand chips. Buyers who need more than 64 GB total capacity or who use a different chipset should look elsewhere.

Installing the modules

Each stick is a standard 288-pin DIMM that seats in the board's four DDR4 slots without tools. The kit has no heat spreader so clearance is not a concern. The motherboard supports a maximum of 64 GB across four sockets; filling all four with dual-rank sticks can sometimes prevent the board from posting at the rated speed. If that happens, enable XMP in the BIOS or set the frequency manually to 2400 MHz.

Behaviour under sustained load

The modules operate at the JEDEC-standard 1.2 V and carry no thermal armour, so they rely on case airflow to stay cool. During long workloads the dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation keeps bandwidth steady at the rated PC4-19200 level. Because the chips are specified for continuous operation at CL17 17-17-17, timing does not relax as temperature rises.
