The Dell PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2609v3 six-core processors at 1.9GHz and 16GB of DDR4 memory. It targets IT teams building virtualisation hosts, database nodes or application servers that need dual-socket compute density in a standard rack footprint. The system ships without an operating system or storage drives.

Drive Bays PCIe Expansion and Redundant Power

Eight 2.5-inch hot-plug bays accept SAS or SATA drives and connect to the integrated PERC H330 controller supporting RAID 0 1 5 10 50 60.
