Dual Xeon Gold 6426Y compute

This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6426Y processors, each running at 2.5 GHz with a 4.1 GHz turbo frequency. Sixteen cores per CPU deliver thirty-two cores in total for parallel workloads. The system is aimed at virtualization hosts, AI inference nodes, database clusters and software-defined storage appliances that need dense compute in a standard rack footprint.

Sixteen 2.5-inch bays and DDR5 memory

Sixteen hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays accept SAS, SATA and NVMe media without extra cabling. The Dell PERC H965i controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus eight gigabytes of non-volatile cache. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5-4800 ECC registered memory occupy four of thirty-two slots, leaving room to scale toward eight terabytes. An OCP 3.0 quad-port 1 GbE adapter and iDRAC9 Datacenter handle network and out-of-band management.

Redundant 1400 W platinum power supplies

Two hot-plug 1400 watt platinum-efficiency units share the load and maintain operation if one fails. The 2U chassis uses internal airflow paths sized for the installed components; fan speeds adjust automatically under iDRAC thermal policies. Acoustic output in a typical rack aisle stays within data-centre norms for this class of server. Power draw scales with CPU utilisation and drive population.
