The Dell W347K is a 600GB 3.5-inch hard drive built for Dell PowerEdge servers. It uses a SAS 6.0Gb/s interface and spins at 15000 RPM with a 16MB cache. This new drive ships in a tray compatible with R Series chassis.

The 15000 RPM spindle speed maintains consistent throughput during extended read and write operations. A 6.0Gb/s SAS link supports steady data transfer without the latency spikes seen on slower interfaces. The 16MB cache absorbs bursts to keep queues moving under heavy multi-user loads.
