30 metre OM3 SC-SC duplex multimode cable

This 30 metre Enfain OM3 multimode fibre patch cable uses a 10 gigabit core and SC connectors at both ends. The aqua blue PVC jacket measures 3.0 millimetres in diameter and carries duplex fibres for bidirectional data links. It is built for indoor connections between switches, servers and patch panels in data-centre or enterprise racks.

The cable supports 1G, 10G and 40G Ethernet over multimode fibre at the 850 nanometre wavelength. Typical insertion loss is 0.2 dB and maximum insertion loss is 0.3 dB, with return loss exceeding 38 dB. It is not designed for long-haul single-mode runs or for outdoor aerial or direct-burial installation.

The OM3 10-gigabit core determines the modal bandwidth available for 10G and 40G transmission. Maximum insertion loss of 0.3 dB and return loss above 38 dB set the link budget for reliable operation.
