Universal IDE and SATA drive adapter

The ESTONE SA28 connects 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE hard drives to a USB 3.0 port. It accepts SATA drives up to 10 TB and IDE drives of both form factors. Optical drives such as DVD-ROM, CD-ROM and DVD-RW are also supported. Up to three drives can operate at the same time.

Replaces separate docks and enclosures

A single cable handles SATA II, 40-pin IDE and 44-pin IDE without swapping hardware. The jump is worth it when you need quick access to legacy drives for data recovery or archiving. No driver installation is required on Windows XP through 10 or Mac OS. Hot-swap support lets you change drives without rebooting.

Sustained transfer with USB 3.0

Data moves at up to 5 Gbps and falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 on older ports. The included 12 V 2 A power adapter and 4-pin cable keep 3.5 inch drives stable during long copies. An automatic sleep mode activates after 30 minutes of inactivity. An on/off switch and LED indicators protect the drive and show activity status.
