This 2.5 inch drive uses 3D NAND and a SATA III interface to deliver sequential reads up to 500 MBps and writes up to 420 MBps. It fits laptops, desktops and ultra-slim notebooks with a 7 mm z-height. The drive is intended as a direct replacement for a mechanical hard disk.
Silent operation with low power draw
Without a heatsink the drive runs passively, so it adds no fan noise to the system. Shock and vibration resistance protect data in mobile use. The SATA link keeps power consumption modest during typical desktop and laptop workloads.
