The iStarUSA D-410-DE36 is a 4U steel rackmount chassis built to hold thirty-six 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays alongside one 5.25-inch bay. It accepts EATX, ATX and microATX boards up to 12 by 13 inches and provides seven expansion slots for add-in cards. Two 120mm fans and a single front USB 2.0 port complete the core specification.

Storage-focused builders and space-constrained racks

This chassis suits operators who need maximum 2.5-inch drive density in a standard 4U footprint, such as backup appliances or media archives using SAS or SATA drives. It is not for teams that require 3.5-inch drive support, front-panel USB 3.0 or newer, or redundant power supply bays, nor for builds that exceed the seven-slot expansion limit.
