Universal Drive Adapter

The Jansicotek E02 connects any standard 2.5in or 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drive to a computer through an available USB 3.0 port. It also supports DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW optical drives. This tool is built for technicians and home users who need to duplicate, copy, backup or transfer large amounts of data from bare drives without an enclosure or dock.

Interface and Capacity Limit

The adapter uses a USB 3.0 connection with UASP support for accelerated transfer speeds up to 5Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. It includes a dual-head IDE connector for both 40pin and 44pin drives plus one SATA III connector. Drives with a capacity of up to 6 TB are supported.

Power and Status

A 12V 2A external power adapter is included to power drives outside the computer case. An on/off switch provides drive protection during connection changes. LED indicators show power and activity status for USB 3.0, IDE and SATA interfaces. The plug-and-play design requires no driver installation on Windows, Mac, Linux or Chrome OS.
