LORDWORLD SIM7000G NB-IoT/Cat-M/Edge/GPRS HAT development board

SKU CH-ACQC-4P92F

Adds low-power NB-IoT, Cat-M, Edge and GPRS connectivity plus GNSS positioning to Raspberry Pi via 40-pin header with USB and UART breakouts

  • 40-pin GPIO header fits Raspberry Pi boards
  • Multi-protocol stack handles TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, MQTT, SMS
  • GNSS receiver supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS positioning
  • Onboard USB port enables AT command testing and GPS data
  • UART breakout connects to Arduino or STM32 hosts

Cellular IoT HAT for Raspberry Pi

This HAT adds narrow-band cellular connectivity to any Raspberry Pi board with a standard 40-pin GPIO header. It targets makers and engineers building low-power IoT edge devices that need wide-area coverage without Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The board integrates a SIM7000G module for NB-IoT, Cat-M, Edge and GPRS networks worldwide.

Global multi-band NB-IoT and Cat-M modem

The onboard module operates on global frequency bands and supports TCP, UDP, PPP, HTTP, FTP, MQTT, SMS and email protocols. It also provides GNSS positioning via GPS, BeiDou and GLONASS constellations. A SIM application toolkit compliant with SAT Class 3 and GSM 11.14 Release 98 is included for advanced SIM services.

USB and UART access for host integration

An onboard USB port allows direct AT command testing and GPS data retrieval from a PC. Broken-out UART pins enable connection to Arduino, STM32 or other 3.3 V and 5 V logic hosts, with the voltage translator defaulting to 3.3 V and switchable to 5 V via a zero-ohm resistor.

Въпроси за този артикул

What does the SIM7000G module actually provide when mounted on a Raspberry Pi?

The board adds cellular connectivity using NB-IoT, Cat-M, EDGE and GPRS bands worldwide, plus GNSS positioning from GPS, BeiDou and GLONASS satellites, all through the Pi 40-pin GPIO header.

Which host interface does the HAT use and what practical limits does it impose?

It connects via the standard Pi 40-pin GPIO extension header and breaks out UART control pins for Arduino or STM32 hosts; the onboard voltage translator defaults to 3.3 V and can be switched to 5 V by changing a 0-ohm resistor.

What physical space and mounting does the board need on a Pi?

The HAT aligns with the Pi 40-pin GPIO header, so it occupies the same footprint as a standard Raspberry Pi HAT and requires no extra mounting hardware beyond the header pins.
