Targeted server upgrade

This 16 GB kit uses two 8 GB DDR4 3200 modules built for ASRock Rack boards such as the E3C256D4ID2 and E3C256D4U-2L2T. ECC unbuffered operation adds data-integrity protection for workloads that cannot tolerate silent corruption. CL22 timing and 1.2 V power draw match the platform defaults. The modules ship without heat spreaders to fit dense DIMM spacing.

Build integration

Each stick is a 288-pin UDIMM organised as 1Rx8, so the kit occupies two standard DDR4 slots and leaves remaining channels open for further expansion. Unbuffered design means no registered clock driver is required, simplifying the memory subsystem. The 1.20 V rating keeps power draw low inside thermally constrained chassis. No extra cooling hardware is mandated by the modules themselves.

Sustained operation

Major-brand Samsung, Micron or Hynix ICs are stress-tested under load before shipping, supporting stable throughput during extended compute jobs. ECC single-bit correction runs continuously without software intervention, maintaining accuracy over long runs. The absence of spreaders relies on chassis airflow, so sustained performance scales with case cooling rather than module-mounted thermal mass.
