Portable NVMe and SATA enclosure

The Orico aluminium case accepts M.2 drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths with either NVMe or SATA interfaces. It connects through USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and supports drives up to 4TB, making it a compact way to add external storage to laptops, desktops or Android devices.

Tool-free installation and thermal management

A sliding cover locks the SSD in place without screws, while a thermal pad and the aluminium body work together as a heatsink to draw heat away from the controller during sustained transfers. An LED shows standby or activity, and the enclosure enters sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity.

Check drive keying and host port speed

Verify that your SSD uses an M-key, B+M-key or B+M-key SATA layout; other key types will not fit. The bundle includes a 30 cm USB-C to USB-A cable, so confirm your host has a compatible USB-A or USB-C port able to run at 10 Gbps for NVMe or 5 Gbps for SATA.
