This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 registered DIMMs built for Lenovo ThinkServer RD330, RD340, RD430, RD440 and RD530 systems. The modules run at 1.35 V and include ECC error correction for data integrity in server and workstation workloads. They replace Lenovo part numbers 00D5035, 00D5036, 46W0700 and 46W0771. The 240-pin form factor fits the DDR3 slots in those models.

Verify registered ECC support before ordering

Your server must accept DDR3L registered ECC RDIMMs; standard desktop boards and unbuffered memory are not compatible. Mixing these modules with unbuffered DIMMs will prevent the system from booting. Confirm the ThinkServer model number matches the supported list and that free 240-pin slots are available for the two-module kit. No heat spreaders are fitted, so ensure airflow in the memory bays is adequate.

Low-voltage operation keeps thermals modest

At 1.35 V the DDR3L modules draw less power than standard DDR3, reducing heat output in densely populated server chassis. The registered buffer adds minimal latency while stabilising the memory bus under load. Expect quiet, reliable operation in the supported ThinkServer platforms without additional cooling requirements beyond the system's standard airflow design.
