Purpose-built NAS chassis

The Rosewill Helium NAS is an ATX mid-tower case designed for DIY network-attached storage, media servers or small-business file servers. Its steel-and-plastic frame supports ATX, Micro-ATX and ITX motherboards with the power supply mounted at the bottom. Four 140 mm PWM fans come pre-installed behind full-mesh side panels to move air across dense drive arrays.

Storage-first builders vs. compact systems

This case suits builders who need up to 10 x 3.5-inch and 3 x 2.5-inch drive bays in a single enclosure. Users planning a compact living-room PC or a minimalist workstation should look elsewhere, as the 19.1 x 9.05 x 18.67 inch footprint prioritises capacity over desk appeal.

Drive capacity and cooling headroom

Thirteen internal bays handle large media libraries, backups or virtual-machine images with room to grow. Front and top mounts accept 360 mm, 280 mm or 240 mm radiators, while the rear takes a 120 mm unit. Graphics cards up to 280 mm and CPU coolers up to 180 mm fit comfortably; longer GPUs or taller coolers will not clear the internal layout.
