The Syba SI-PEX15043 adds two RS232 serial ports through a PCIe 2.0 x1 slot using the Exar XR17V358 controller. It is compatible with the 16C550 UART standard for industrial machines, POS terminals, external modems and legacy peripherals. Drivers cover Windows XP through Server 2012 and Linux kernels from 2.6.27 onward.
