The Tripp Lite SMART1500LCDXL is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1500 VA and 900 W. It provides battery backup and automatic voltage regulation for workstations, networking gear and entry-level servers that require continuous 120 V power. Eight NEMA 5-15R outlets connect protected equipment directly.

Sustained runtime at full and half load

At full 900 W load the internal VRLA battery delivers 4.18 minutes of runtime, while a half load extends operation to 12 minutes. Recharge from 10 % to 90 % completes in less than 4.5 hours, so the unit recovers quickly after an extended outage. The 4 ms transfer time keeps connected devices running through brief utility interruptions.

2U rack/tower chassis with replaceable cartridge

The 2U form factor mounts in a standard rack or stands as a tower, and the RBC1500 cartridge allows hot-swappable battery replacement without powering down the load. An LCD panel displays status and silences the audible alarm permanently. Connectivity includes USB HID, DB9 serial, contact closure and data-line protection for TEL/DSL and 10/100 Ethernet. Surge suppression is rated at 1038 joules.
