4U 4-Bay NAS Chassis
This 4U server chassis holds four hot-swap 3.5-inch SATA drive bays and accepts a Mini-ITX motherboard up to 170mm square. It ships with a 150W Flex PSU and a single rear 12025 fan for airflow. The steel frame uses 1.0mm SGCC zinc-coated panels with a sand-grain black finish.
6Gb/s SATA Backplane Limit
The integrated backplane runs at 6Gb/s SATA III, so every installed drive is capped at that interface speed regardless of the drive's own rating. Hot-swap trays include LED light guides for status indication, but the chassis provides only two front USB 2.0 ports for external connectivity. No additional drive interfaces or PCIe slots are present.
Four-Drive Capacity Headroom
Four bays give enough raw capacity for home storage, private cloud, office AV or distributed storage workloads that fit within four drives. The 150W Flex supply and single 12025 fan limit sustained heavy loads; CPU cooler height must stay below 3.5cm. Builds needing more than four drives, redundant power or higher-wattage components exceed what this enclosure can support.
