Standalone SATA duplicator for bulk cloning

The Systor SYS106RMHDD-DP copies one source drive to up to six targets simultaneously without a host computer. It supports 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA hard drives and solid-state drives directly in its slot-loading bays. The unit handles FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and Linux EXT2 through EXT4 file systems in quick-copy mode and can duplicate entire media sector-by-sector for any format. An LCD screen and English or Japanese menus guide the operator through each task.

Sustained 90 MB/s throughput across all ports

Each of the six target ports maintains up to 90 MB per second during extended copy jobs, backed by 128 MB of buffer memory per channel. Rear 40 mm fans and individual port exhaust fans keep temperatures stable during long sessions, while the integrated power supply is rated for continuous operation. The standalone architecture eliminates host-bus contention, so performance does not degrade as more targets are added.

SATA interface limits drive count and speed

The duplicator provides six SATA target ports plus one source port, so a single run cannot exceed six clones. Transfer rate tops out at the SATA bus ceiling of 90 MB/s, making it unsuitable for workflows that demand higher throughput or more than six simultaneous targets. Drives larger than the addressing limits of the supported file systems may require whole-media mode, which copies every sector regardless of capacity.
