RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 are supported, but the two-drive configuration restricts practical choices to RAID 0 or RAID 1 unless more drives are added. The controller’s 12 Gbps internal speed cannot be used by the current 6 Gbps drives.

Redundant power and 24-bay expandability

Dual 500 W hot-swap supplies allow one unit to fail without downtime, and both can be replaced while the server runs. Twenty-four front-accessible 2.5-inch bays let administrators add capacity or performance incrementally without removing the server from the rack. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip provides basic console output only, so a discrete GPU would be required for any graphical compute tasks.
