The ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB601VK-1B adapts a single 2.5" U.2 NVMe SSD up to 15 mm tall into any standard external 3.5" device bay. It connects through a U.2 port (SFF-8639) and supports the full NVMe bandwidth specification of 32 Gbps. A ruggedised full-metal enclosure meets flammability requirements and provides EMI grounding to protect the drive from electrical damage.

This rack is built for workstations and servers that already expose a U.2 NVMe connection at the drive bay.
