It connects through a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot and auto-negotiates 10 GbE or 1 GbE links with SFP+ transceivers, direct-attach copper or active optical cables up to ten metres. The card ships with both a full-height and a low-profile bracket for flexible mounting.
