Tool-free sliding closure and two supplied cables make it ready for Windows, Mac or Linux without drivers. The red transparent shell lets you see the installed module.

Practical limits of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 link

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface caps theoretical throughput at 10 Gbps. Real-world speed depends on the SSD controller, cable quality and host port implementation. UASP and TRIM support help maintain performance, but the enclosure cannot exceed the bus ceiling. No external power adapter is included, so the host port must supply enough current for the drive.
