The HP ProLiant DL160 Gen9 fits a dual Xeon E5-2623 v3 configuration into a single rack unit. Two quad-core processors running at 3 GHz deliver eight physical cores and sixteen threads. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory occupy two of the sixteen available DIMM slots. A Smart HBA H240 controller manages storage through SAS and SATA interfaces with RAID 0, 1 and 5 support.

The H240 supports 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA, so any SAS or SATA drive that meets those link speeds will be detected and can be configured in RAID 0, 1 or 5.

How can I verify both Xeon E5-2623 v3 processors and all 16GB of DDR4 memory are active after power-on?

During POST the system will display two CPUs and 16GB total; you can also confirm the counts in the iLO interface or the OS device manager once booted.
