Intelligent TurboWrite 2.0 enlarges the TurboWrite region up to 5.5 times to maintain write speeds. Full Power Mode via Magician 6.3 keeps the drive at peak performance continuously. Host Memory Buffer links host DRAM directly to the controller to overcome DRAMless constraints.
Nickel coating on the controller and a heat spreader label on the NAND provide thermal control. Samsung's thermal algorithm manages heat to minimise performance fluctuations during extended use. Idle power consumption is 45 mW.
