AM4 Ryzen platform

This Micro-ATX board uses the AMD B450 chipset and the AM4 socket. It accepts third, second and first-generation Ryzen CPUs as well as Ryzen and Athlon APUs with Radeon Vega graphics. Builders who want four memory slots, multiple M.2 sockets or additional PCIe lanes should consider a larger board.

Two DDR4 slots cap memory at 64 GB

Only two 288-pin slots are present, so the maximum supported capacity is 64 GB and expansion beyond that is impossible. If the planned workload needs more memory or four populated slots for bandwidth reasons, this motherboard will not fit the requirement.
