This 2.5" SATA internal SSD uses MLC NAND and a Marvell controller to deliver 256GB of storage for notebooks, desktops and workstations. It targets everyday client computing where low power draw and resistance to shock matter. Sequential reads reach 500MBps on a 6Gbps link and 265MBps on a 3Gbps link.
The drive drops into any standard 2.5" bay and connects with a regular SATA data and power cable. No extra drivers are required because the operating system sees a normal AHCI device. The only common issue is leaving the host controller in IDE mode, which caps throughput at the slower 3Gbps rate.
Sustained sequential write holds at 260MBps while random 4KB performance reaches 45,000 read IOPS and 50,000 write IOPS. Average access time stays below 0.1ms and the controller includes built-in EDC/ECC plus SMART monitoring. Power draw remains at 0.16W active and under 85mW idle across the 0°C to 70°C operating range.
