Target workloads

The Dell PowerEdge T350 is a 5U rack server built around a single Intel E-2374G processor with four cores at 3.7GHz and 32GB of DDR4 memory. It ships with two 4TB 7.2K SATA drives managed by an H755 RAID controller. The platform suits small-business virtualisation, file serving or line-of-business applications that need internal storage expansion within eight 3.5-inch bays.

Installation notes

The chassis includes a 600W redundant power supply, bezel and power cords so the hardware is ready to rack. Four PCIe slots (two Gen 4.0, two Gen 3.0) accept additional controllers or network cards. Remote deployment is handled through iDRAC9 Enterprise with OpenManage Enterprise Advanced+. The internal dual SD module with a 16GB card provides a boot target, but the board only offers two onboard 1GbE ports for networking.

Storage and interface limits

The H755 controller manages SATA drives across the eight available 3.5-inch bays, capping internal capacity at the number of physical slots. PCIe Gen 4.0 bandwidth is limited to two slots, while the remaining two operate at Gen 3.0 speeds. Onboard networking is restricted to dual 1GbE, so heavier traffic demands a discrete adapter. The single-socket design fixes the maximum core count at four.
