The Dell PowerEdge T430 arrives as a 5U rack server with two Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 processors, each delivering 18 cores at 2.1 GHz with a 3.3 GHz turbo frequency. This configuration targets businesses running virtualization, database workloads, or private-cloud infrastructure that benefit from high thread counts and ECC memory integrity. The system supports a maximum of two processors, so the installed pair already saturates the CPU capacity.

16 GB DDR4 with 384 GB Ceiling

The server ships with 16 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across two modules, leaving ten of twelve slots open for expansion up to 384 GB. Four 960 GB SATA SSDs are pre-installed behind the PERC H730P 2 GB controller, which provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 plus pass-through modes. Twelve remaining 2.5-inch hot-swap bays accept additional SAS or SATA drives, while the controller’s 12 Gb/s SAS interface sets the throughput ceiling for the storage subsystem.

Redundant 750 W PSUs and iDRAC 8 Express

Dual 750 watt platinum power supplies provide hot-swap redundancy without consuming PCIe slots. The integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet adapter handles baseline connectivity, and iDRAC 8 Express enables remote management and lifecycle control. PCI Express slots remain available for additional RAID, networking, or acceleration cards. Front bezel and ready rails are not included, so rack-mount installations will need a separate conversion kit and mounting hardware.
