It is not suited for consumer desktop boards that lack registered memory support or eight-channel architecture.

The 128GB total capacity handles large datasets, virtualisation clusters and complex rendering scenes with ample headroom. Eight channels of DDR5 6400 bandwidth feed multi-core Threadripper 7000WX processors efficiently. Workloads exceeding 128GB or requiring higher frequencies than the rated 6400 MT/s will hit the kit's fixed limits. DDR5 6400 EXPO Limits

The modules operate at DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) with CL32 timings of 32-39-39-102 at 1.40V via AMD EXPO profiles. Stability at this rated speed depends on the motherboard QVL and the CPU integrated memory controller. The registered design adds a clock cycle of buffering, which is mandatory for the WRX90 platform. Systems without EXPO support or WRX90 chipsets cannot utilise the rated overclock profile.
