The Smart Array P440 controller adds 4 GB flash-backed write cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for flexible data protection. Two 600 GB 15 K 2.5-inch SAS drives are installed in the front bays, delivering high IOPS for transactional workloads. The controller operates at 12 Gb/s and 6 Gb/s SAS speeds. Dual 500 W redundant hot-swap power supplies keep the server running during a module failure or maintenance swap. Graphics output is handled by an integrated Matrox G200eH2 controller for basic console access.
