The Intel X710DA4FHBLK is a quad-port 10GbE SFP+ network card built on the Intel Ethernet 700 Series controller. It connects through a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot running at 8.0 GT/s and delivers 10Gbps per port for server and data-centre workloads. The low-power design suits dense rack environments.
This adapter replaces single-port or dual-port 10GbE NICs when a server needs four independent SFP+ links without occupying extra slots. The jump is worth it for network-function virtualisation, cloud deployments or storage fabrics that demand hardware offloads for VXLAN, Geneve, NVGRE and MPLS traffic. Buyers who need only one or two ports will not use the extra capacity.
Installation follows the normal PCIe 3.0 x8 procedure: seat the card in a compatible slot, attach SFP+ transceivers and connect fibre or direct-attach cables. Driver support is available for common server operating systems. The card requires an x8 electrical link; an x4 slot will limit throughput. Ensure the chassis airflow meets the adapter's thermal needs.

Keluarga yang sama, memori, penyejuk atau kelajuan jam yang berbeza — bandingkan sebelum membuat keputusan.
The adapter uses a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, so it needs an x8 or larger mechanical slot that provides at least x8 electrical lanes at 8.0 GT/s.
After the base driver loads, the DPDK poll-mode driver must be bound to each XL710-BM1 port; skipping this leaves the virtual functions without hardware offload.
The four SFP+ transceivers are the only field-replaceable components; swap a module when a link fails or when you change between 10 GbE and 1 GbE optics.
