This 256GB kit contains two 128GB DDR4 2933 LRDIMM modules built for the PowerEdge C4140 with CascadeLake CPUs. It delivers registered ECC load-reduced operation at 1.2V with CL21 latency. The 8Rx4 organisation and 288-pin form factor are validated for server and workstation platforms only.

Load-reduced architecture changes compatibility

The load-reduced design reduces electrical load on the memory bus, allowing higher capacities per channel than standard registered DIMMs. It cannot be mixed with unbuffered or standard registered ECC modules.
