Custom ASUS RTX 4090 Water Block

The Phanteks Glacier G40 is a full-cover nickel-plated copper block engineered specifically for ASUS ROG STRIX and TUF Gaming RTX 4090 graphics cards. It replaces the factory air cooler to enable high-performance liquid cooling in a custom loop. Integrated digital-RGB lighting uses standard JST connectors for synchronisation with Phanteks D-RGB ecosystems and compatible motherboards. A low-profile fitting layout and included GPU support bracket improve chassis clearance and prevent card sag.

10mm Copper Core With 0.6mm Fin Array

A 10 mm pure copper cold plate sits directly over the GPU die, memory modules and power delivery components. A fine 0.6 mm micro-fin array paired with a clear jet plate targets coolant flow at the hottest surfaces for sustained thermal transfer during extended compute or gaming sessions. Viton rubber washers maintain consistent seal force to prevent leaks under continuous pressure cycling. The cast acrylic top and black aluminium cover plates complete the structural assembly.

G1/4 Thread Clearance And D-RGB Ecosystem

Standard G1/4 threaded ports are positioned low on the block to maximise tubing clearance in compact builds, limiting routing options to straight or low-angle fittings. Digital-RGB control requires a 5 V addressable header or Phanteks controller; the block cannot be driven by legacy 12 V RGB headers. The aluminium cover plates add rigidity but do not serve as primary cooling surfaces, so thermal capacity remains bound to the copper core and loop flow rate.
