260W single-tower CPU air cooler
The Thermaltake UX500 is a black single-tower air cooler rated for 260W of cooling performance. It uses five 6mm direct-touch copper heat pipes mounted in an aluminium fin stack. A 120mm PWM fan with hydraulic bearing spins between 700 and 1800 RPM to deliver 62.72 CFM at 25.0 dBA. The unit weighs more than 450g and connects via a 2510 4-pin header.
PWM fan curve limits noise and airflow
The 120mm fan operates on a PWM curve from 700 to 1800 RPM, so airflow and noise scale with CPU load. At the top of the range the cooler moves 62.72 CFM while emitting 25.0 dBA. The hydraulic bearing is designed for quieter running and longer life. Because the fan speed is controlled by the motherboard, the thermal ceiling is ultimately set by the 260W rating and the single 120mm fan diameter.
Horizontal fan mount clears tall memory
The fan mounts horizontally across the fin stack, creating a non-interference design that does not overhang memory slots. This allows the use of taller RAM modules without clearance issues. The mounting kit supports Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1156, 1155, 1151, 1150 and AMD AM5, AM4, FM2, FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2 sockets. The cooler contains no LED lighting.
