Storage and connectivity limits

The 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, while the 10TB hard drive adds bulk capacity with a 256MB cache. The Z890 motherboard provides four M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s ports, but only the primary M.2 socket runs at full PCIe 4.0 speeds.
