The Alphacool Eiszapfen fits directly into a G1/4 water-cooling loop and reports coolant temperature through a standard 2-pin header. It is built for enthusiasts who want real-time loop data on a fan controller or motherboard sensor input. The black finish matches dark-themed builds.
Compatibility is limited to the 10 kOhm curve used by the Aquastream XT Ultra, Aquaduct 360 XT and 720 XT, Heatmaster, Innovatek Fan-O-Matic, Lian Li Multipanel, Scythe Kaze, T-balancer and many motherboard headers. Controllers expecting a different resistance curve will read incorrectly. Builders needing a different curve cannot use this sensor.
The female-to-female body threads between any two G1/4 fittings and the supplied male-to-male adapter lets you join two female ports directly. A 50 cm cable reaches motherboard headers even in full-tower cases. Over-tightening can damage the sealed fitting, and the 2-pin plug must match the controller header polarity.

The Alphacool Eiszapfen 1012590 is a single-model sensor with female-to-female G1/4 threads and an included male-to-male adapter, so one version covers every inline position in a standard loop.
A 10kOhm thermistor changes resistance predictably with coolant temperature, letting motherboards, fan controllers or displays such as Aquastream XT Ultra, Heatmaster or T-balancer read loop temperature directly.
The standard 2-pin header carries only the resistive signal, so it works with any 10kOhm-compatible input but cannot supply power or transmit digital data beyond temperature.
