The ASUS PRIME B360M-C/CSM is a MicroATX motherboard built around the Intel B360 chipset and LGA 1151 socket. It accepts 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors for desktop workstations or home office PCs. Four DIMM slots support up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory at 2666, 2400 or 2133 MHz with XMP profiles. A single PCI Express x16 slot provides graphics expansion for discrete cards.
The B360 chipset runs without an active fan so the board adds no audible noise of its own. Power delivery is handled by the standard 24-pin ATX and 4-pin CPU connectors, drawing only what the installed processor and memory require. Typical idle and office workloads stay well within the board's thermal limits without extra case airflow directed at the VRM area.
MicroATX dimensions let the board mount in smaller chassis while still exposing a full-length PCI Express x16 slot for a dual-slot graphics card. No I/O shield or extra cables are included so plan to source a compatible shield and SATA cables separately. The layout leaves the lower expansion slots clear for add-in cards such as sound or networking adapters.

Lift the socket lever, align the processor triangle with the socket corner, place the CPU gently without pressure, lower the frame and lock the lever; the step people miss is forgetting to remove the plastic protective cover from the socket before seating the processor.
The CMOS battery on the board will eventually need replacement when the system loses time or BIOS settings.
With four DIMMs populated the board tops out at DDR4 2133 MHz, so sustained heavy workloads will run at that frequency even if faster modules are installed.
