A single Intel Xeon E5-2630 v3 eight-core processor at 2.4 GHz and 128 GB of DDR4 memory are installed. Two 750 W redundant power supplies and a DVD-ROM drive complete the base configuration.

H730 RAID controller with twelve-gigabit SAS

The storage subsystem centres on a Dell PERC H730 controller with 1 GB cache and a 12 Gbps SAS interface. It supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the twenty-four bays, allowing up to 52 TB of raw hard-drive capacity. No drives or drive trays are included, so the buyer must supply SAS or SATA media.

Four 1 GbE ports and six PCIe 3.0 slots

Networking starts with a daughter card providing four 1 GbE ports; optional 10 GbE NDCs are supported but not installed.
