The system targets workloads that need multi-threaded compute and fast local storage in a standard rack footprint.

H730P RAID controller and iDRAC9 Enterprise

The H730P hardware RAID controller manages the eight drive bays with cache-backed protection, enabling redundant arrays without host CPU overhead. Integrated iDRAC9 Enterprise provides dedicated remote console, power control and firmware updates over a separate management network. Dual 10 Gb and dual 1 Gb RJ45 ports on the Intel X550 NDC deliver high-throughput connectivity for storage or cluster traffic.

Tool-less rails and redundant 1100 W PSUs

Included sliding rails allow single-person mounting in standard four-post racks without tools. Two hot-plug 1100 W power supplies share the load and maintain operation if one unit fails. The eight 2.5-inch bays are fully populated, so adding drives requires removing existing SSDs or using PCIe add-in cards. No optical drive bay is present.
