The Dell PowerEdge R940 fits four Intel Xeon Gold 6148 processors, each running at 2.4 GHz with 20 cores. The system ships with 512 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 modules. Eight 400 GB SATA SSDs and a PERC H730P controller provide the initial storage pool.
