The ESTONE PCIE24ABK adds four USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a desktop computer through a single PCI Express x1 slot. It is aimed at users who need more connections for keyboards, mice, external drives, webcams, printers or VR sensors without replacing the motherboard.

Upgrade from limited onboard USB

The card replaces a shortage of native USB 3.0 ports or slower USB 2.0 headers on older boards. The jump is worth it when you regularly move large video, audio or photo files and the existing ports are occupied or max out at lower speeds.

PCIe 2.0 x1 lane caps total throughput

The card complies with the PCI Express 2.0 specification and fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots, but the single-lane interface limits aggregate bandwidth to the 5 Gbps ceiling shared across all four ports. It does not support Power Delivery fast charging, video output or Thunderbolt protocols.
