16-inch touchscreen laptop for AI workloads

The HP OmniBook X 16 runs on an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 processor with six cores, twelve threads and a 50 TOPS NPU. A 16.0-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen at 1920 x 1200 resolution provides stylus and finger input. Integrated AMD Radeon 840M graphics handle everyday visual tasks. The system ships with 16GB DDR4 memory, a 256GB PCIe SSD and Windows 11 Home with an Office 2021 licence.

Opened chassis for factory upgrades

The manufacturer seal is opened by engineers to install memory or storage upgrades before shipment. This process reduces factory defects through inspection and testing. The original one-year manufacture warranty remains on untouched components while upgraded parts receive a separate one-year warranty. No user disassembly is required to receive the enhanced configuration.

Port mix limits single-cable docking

One Thunderbolt 4 port delivers 40Gbps signalling for displays and data. A second USB-C port and two USB-A ports each run at 10Gbps. An HDMI 2.1 output supports external monitors. The single Thunderbolt 4 connection means only one high-bandwidth dock or eGPU can be attached at a time. No SD card reader is fitted.
