The Intel DC S3610 is a 2.5 inch enterprise solid-state drive with 1.6 TB capacity and a SATA III interface. It is built for servers and storage arrays that need consistent read and write performance under heavy workloads. The drive uses 20 nm MLC NAND and includes end-to-end data protection plus AES 256 bit hardware encryption. Power-loss protection capacitors help preserve in-flight data during unexpected outages.
The drive is rated for 10.7 PB of total bytes written and offers up to 84,000 random read IOPS and 27,000 random write IOPS. Sequential reads reach 550 MBps while sequential writes reach 500 MBps. Read latency is 55 µs and write latency is 66 µs. Enhanced power-loss data protection, temperature monitoring and logging, and high endurance technology work together to maintain data integrity and drive health over a 2,000,000 hour MTBF.
Verify that your server or enclosure provides a 2.5 inch drive bay and a SATA III port with adequate power delivery for up to 6.8 W active consumption.
